I've been active in the Society for Creative Anachronism for over 40 years.

My wife and I own a Viking faering boat (The Skogar Ðrostr) and tent. Contact me if you would like us to come and do a Demo for you (within 6 hours of Connecticut). We perform Viking history demonstrations at Scandianvian, Irish, Scottish, Celtic, and Maritime festivals, and also Renaissance Faires.

I'm active in the Science Fiction community volunteering at and helping to run SF/F Conventions.
